My (What Will be Completely Inaccurate) Attempt at Guessing the Post-Credit Scenes of the Future MCU Movies.

By on November 26, 2014

So, out of a bit of boredom and just to start a debate, I’m going to attempt to guess what the post-credit scenes for all the upcoming MCU movie leading up the Infinity War: Part 1 will be. It is all leading up to that, so I think using the post-credit scenes could be a very cool way to move it along. So, in order of release:

Avengers: Age of Ultron – May 1, 2015

This one won’t have anything to do with Infinity War: Part 1. What it will do is link us to MCU Phase 3. I expect in Avengers: AoU Tony Stark takes some research or a program developed by Hank Pym and turns that into fully functional, unmanned Ironman armor, which in turn becomes Ultron. So this post-credit scene will show Hank Pym angry that Stark and The Avengers made his work look like a disaster.

Ant-Man – July 16, 2015

Ironman’s post-cred started the quest to The Avengers. With Cap 3 being the Civil War, we can clearly see that the team isn’t doing so well. So, in a bit of a mirror of Ironman’s post-credit scene, Scott Lang comes home to find Nick Fury telling him about the rift between Ironman and Cap, and a need for either new Avengers, or a new team, and he wants Ant-Man (and maybe Wasp depending on how this movie plays out).

Captain America: Civil War – May 6, 2016

Well, it’s been stated that Civil War will not play out the way it does exactly in the comics, so it’s hard to say how this ends. Chris Evans is signed on for one more movie after this so Cap can’t die, can he? Well, with Crossbones returning for this movie, I’ll go out on a limb and say he is either killed (Not that anyone is ever dead in the comics) or at least incapacitated, and in this post-credit scene we see Bucky donning his version of the Captain America gear.

Doctor Strange – November 4, 2016

I honestly have no clue how this movie will play out, but I’ll assume that they’ll stick close to the source material, and Dr. Strange will be trained by the Ancient One. I’ll also guess that after he was mentioned in Cap 2, S.H.I.E.L.D. will have already been in touch with him throughout this movie. So the movie comes to an end with Strange saving the day, and he is speaking/training/meditating (whatever) with the Ancient One (hopefully in the Sanctum Sanctorum) when all of a sudden the Ancient One senses a force coming to Earth. He tells Strange he needs to warn S.H.I.E.L.D., and that they’ll all need help.
